All our classes are 30 minutes long and are scheduled weekly during the school term.
Bangalow Swim School Bubble Buddies program introduces breathing techniques, floating and safety strategies such as entering/exiting the pool. This level is suitable for any young child who has some experience of the water but still needs a parent present. Bubble Buddies who are not yet toilet trained are required to wear swimming nappies in the pool.

Bangalow Swim School Little Kickers program is the first independent level. Children develop techniques for moving independently through the water while building confidence and safety awareness. Little Kickers who are not yet toilet-trained are required to wear swimming nappies in the pool.

Bangalow Swim School Torpedo classes cater to children who are ready to develop their stroke technique, beginning with freestyle, and then moving on to practice backstroke and breaststroke. We group children according to ability and our focus is on stroke development and safety awareness.
To avoid disruptions, please ensure your child has gone to the toilet before class.

If your child is already an experienced swimmer but struggles to retain endurance and speed, we can help by refining and improving stroke technique. Stroke correction can help boost a child’s confidence, ability and stamina in the water both in the short-term and the long-term.
While our classes cover freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly, we will concentrate on your child’s specific requirements.

Swim fit is Bangalow Swim School’s version of swim squad. For children who would like a more fun and interactive swim squad.

During school holidays we offer a limited number of intensive swimming classes for children who are making the transition into independent swimming. The intensive swimming class involves one week of daily swimming lessons from Monday to Friday.
